Our pride and passion; Beer! We have a wide range of beers coming through at The Wight Bear with different styles and different breweries always up on our wall. Keep an eye on our socials we’ll post our latest drops!

We have 7 permanent listings on our Keg Wall, as well as 3 rotational lines;

  • Tap #1 Iford Cider - Wild Juice - 4.5% Medium, sparkling, Cider (GF, Vg) - ‘Super juicy session cider with fresh a apple hit and mellow tannin. All fresh fruit, never from concentrate.’

  • Tap #2 Siren Craft - Lumina - 4.2% GF Session IPA (GF, Vg) - ‘Lumina is our shining light, glowing with juicy tropical fruit notes. Hoppy aromas of mango and pineapple guide you towards explosive flavour, flashes of delicate citrus highlights and refreshing balanced bitterness.’

  • Tap #3 Electric Bear - Werrrd! - 4.2% American Pale Ale (Vg) - ‘This immensely crushable pale is brewed with some of our favourite fruit-forward hops. Bright aromas of pink grapefruit, mango, and orange rind follow through into the flavour that ends with a piney and zippy bitterness.’

  • Tap #5 Siren Craft - The Pilot - 5% Hazy IPA (GF, Vg) - ‘This refreshing hazy pale ale is loaded up with Citra and Krush hops. Expect a delicate haze, sweet fruit flavours and just a little taster of what’s to come this year.’

  • Tap #8 Beamish - 4% Irish Stout (Vg) - ‘A classic dry Irish stout brewed in Cork, Ireland, since 1792. It delivers a smooth, velvety mouthfeel with rich flavours of roasted malt, dark chocolate, and coffee, capped by a creamy head.’

  • Tap #9 Paulaner - Münchner Hell - 4.9% Helles Lager (Vg) - ‘Bright-golden Munich Helles lager delivers a perfect balance of mild malt sweetness and a crisp, subtle hoppy finish.’

  • Tap #10 Stiegl - Goldbräu - 4.9% Austrian Lager (Vg) - ‘The liquid gold of Salzburg, stylish, characteristic golden-blonde colour and impressive foam head. The full-bodied and finely-malted Goldbräu is brewed with the highest quality local ingredients and offers a delightfully fresh yet well-rounded flavour.

We have 2 permanent listings on our Cask Board; as well as 1 or 2 extras occasionally (Usually during autumn/winter months);

  • New Bristol Brewery - The Joy of Sesh - 4.2% Session IPA (GF, Vg) - ‘A low ABV makes this hop laden brew an easily sessionable quaffer. Our everyday, all day, go to IPA.’

  • Salcombe Brewery -

    • Lifesaver - 4.8% Bitter - ‘award-winning deep chestnut/copper ale (4.8% ABV) with notes of citrus, toffee, and a subtle liquorice finish.’

    • Seahorse - 4.4% Amber - ‘sweet and smooth, featuring a gentle spicy hop character, hints of burnt caramel, and a smoked malty finish.’

We have 4 permanent listings on our Still Cider Board; as well as between 2 & 3 rotational options

  • Purbeck Cider Co. - Joe’s Farmhouse - 5.6% Authentic Dry Cider - ‘An authentic dry cider with a spiced apple aroma, Joe’s Farmhouse Dry packs a bold rounded flavour with subtle hints of lemon zest.’

  • Purbeck Cider Co. - Purbeck Pirate - 4.8% Bittersweet Cider - ‘A bittersweet and well balanced medium cider with a sweet apple aroma, crisp mouthfeel and a rounded flavour.’

  • Thistly Cross Cider - Whisky Cask Cider - 6.7% Barrel-Aged Cider - ‘The first release from our barrel-aged range; matured in Whisky Casks from Glen Moray Distillery. The perfect marriage between Scottish methods and Scotland’s favourite craft cider. We use single malt scotch whisky casks to give our cider it’s warming notes of oak, vanilla and honey.’

  • Farmer Jim’s - Rhubarb Bob - 4% Rhubarb Infused Cider - ‘Tart Rhubarb infused with a swirl of vanilla for a refreshing long drink.’
